Are you interested in donating your time to Center for Women? As a non-profit, we rely on the time donated to help us manage all of the different tasks that are required to keep our center running. Take a look at some of the ways you can be involved.
Calling All Nurses!
We are seeking compassionate, friendly, pro-life nurses to volunteer and provide life-affirming healthcare support to the individuals that we serve in our community. Examples of job duties may include providing nursing services such as pregnancy tests and STD tests, as well as answering patients’ medical questions and adhering to safe nursing practices. If you have a LPN’s or RN’s License in good standing with the State Medical Board, and would like to learn more about this opportunity, please contact Hailey at hailey@cfwjackson.org or call 517-787-4673.
Medical Responsibilities:
-Provide quality and consistent care
-Run pregnancy tests and STD tests as needed
-Provide STD treatment according to protocol by preparing and dispensing medication
-Assess clients and take basic health histories
-Give information and answer clients’ medical questions within scope of care
-Communicate and cooperate with healthcare team
-Perform additional duties as requested
Other Responsibilities:
-Attend mandatory medical staff meetings
-Attend All-Staff events as requested
-Nurture a compassionate, supportive environment
Qualifications:
-Meet the requirements located on the CFW application
-Maintain an active LPN or RN license (PAs are welcome as well)
-Fulfill training in the nursing procedures of the Center
-Compassionate, Christ-like attitude
-Excellent teamwork skills
Volunteer Opportunities
Our needs are always changing and evolving to better serve those who seek support at our center. Because of this, we are constantly looking for people with various skills and talents to join our team. Additional Ways to Help
Become a Prayer Partner
Prayer is the most powerful way you can serve Center for Women. We ask that you pray for our center and continuing to grow our reach.
Pray for our staff that they are able to demonstrate His love and compassion to the clients they serve.
Pray for the men and women we serve. Pray that He fills them up and give them the strength to choose life.
Pray for the children that have been given a chance at life thanks to your contributions to Center for Women and that they grow up knowing how precious they are.
Lastly, pray for the women facing unplanned pregnancies in our community who have not found us yet. Pray that the Lord directs them to us and calls us to embrace them as they embark on this new journey.

Invite a Speaker to a Service, Meeting, or Event
We want to reach supporters and potential clients before they are searching for us. Invite one of our speakers to come to your next event. We are happy to share our mission with you and let people know that we are here to serve.
Host a Baby Shower
You can host a shower to stock our onsite store and provide expectant parents supplies to help care for their baby.
Assist With a Fundraising Event
If you cannot volunteer regularly, you can still help! Volunteer during one of our fundraising events and allow us to raise money to continue serving our clients and saving lives.
